Leadership Update

After decades of faithful service, our founders Curt and Helen Braun have stepped down from the Board. Curt poured his heart into building personal relationships with so many of you from the very beginning. His legacy remains the foundation we continue to build on today. The remainder of the original Board remains intact, including Shelley DeVault, Dale Lommasson, Peter Khoo, Xiou Xiou.

In June 2024, the Board entrusted the role of Chair to Wendi Akers, who brings a deep commitment to our mission and a clear vision for the future. We know that for some, change can feel bittersweet, and we are deeply grateful for your continued trust as we walk forward together.April Newsletter

Thank you for changing everything! In our last newsletter, we told you about 11 children in Lutsk, Ukraine who needed sponsors. You showed up and all 11 are not sponsored. Your $50 a month means a foster family can say yes to keeping a child in home instead of an institution.

A Note From The Field

Yulia has 11 foster children and her foster children are supported by Grace & Hope donors. She runs a tight, loving ship. Every few months she and her husband pick up a fresh bundle of socks and underwear for each child. Once a month, they take one or two children out to a restaurant, just the four of them — full attention, no competition. And every couple of weeks, Yulia fills the fridge with homemade food so there’s always something warm and ready. This is what $50 a month makes possible.
